In the games you normally play, be they home games, online, or live casino tournaments or cash games.

Loose: You see more flops/turns/rivers than most of your opponents.
Tight: You see less f/t/r, you play less starting hands.
Passive: You call proportionally more than you raise/bet.
Aggressive: You bet/raise proportionally more than you call.

Judge the above in comparison with your usual opponents.
Poll is anonymous so be honest!

Ah cock!, some one edit poll to include Tight Passive.

Actually make me a mod of Poker, cos I'm great.

Odd, the Edit Poll function isn't there. If you want I can make it invisible and you could start another poll.

I'd descibe my style as passive-tight-aggressive-loose. If poker was Baldurs Gate I'd describe my character as chaotic neutral.

Good question but I have no answer. Im often by far the loosest and most aggressive player at a table, but Im often the tightest as well.

I've edited the poll. I honestly dont know, I think you guys would be better judges of that! I'm definitely tight as I dont plumb much but sometimes I play very passively and other days I'm quite aggressive particularly when I have chips.

btw the edit poll option is under the Thread Tools drop down, at least it is for me!

Interesting to see that more than 50% of people who voted, and most of us have played at the same table at one time or another, see themselves as tight-aggressive compared to their peers.
I've been doing alot of reading over Christmas about player types and how each is defined and the pros/cons of each. Makes you think sometimes.

Started playing Pot Limit Texas hold em for play money so that I can teach myself the odds in play, and get used to betting/bluffing/general. So for now i'm intentionally going for nearly every flop just to compare how people can react in situations like holding a pair of Queens and seeing a flop going down as a pair of aces, or as for eg. a 345 hearts.

Trying hard to get into this but i'm a complete novice atm so forgive me if my posts seem rediculous.

I'm learning to be more aggressive on more of my hands, but i'm still tight-passive according to my stats.
