I got one from the last time they were selling them. Works OK for me although I never used the software that came with it so can't vouch for that.

What model are the ones they're selling next week?

It doesn't seem to give a model number, but the brand is Tevion - http://ireland.aldi.com/special_buys/product_222.html

The CD on that picture says TV7134. If the picture is correct, then it is probably a Tevion 7134 which is the one they were selling last year. It is based on the Philips SAA7134 chipset. I have this card and it works OK. The only problem I have is some interference appearing as vertical lines on some channels. This is probably due to internal signals from the PC.

can somebody tell me can those Aldi TV Tuner Card be used on sky digital and explain what they do please

To answer some of the questions , theres only a line out , as the only output on the card , the rest goes through the motherboard .

The Analogue tv card can pick up unencoded Analogue cable and terrestrial tv . The card can also play fm radio which is a good added bonus. You can tune in sky digital like you would do on a normal tv or use a Svhs connection . Theres also a remote control thrown in . You can use the card as a personal video recorder if you have a high spec pc and good reception.
