    Well?

Me, nothing in particular but I was wondering if other people observe this.

Explain, please. I've never heard of it until now.

Regardless, I'll be going home after work, lighting a fire, drinking some beer, and wondering how early I should get up tomorrow to complete cleaning the house before the person interested in moving in gets there.

    See here for brief explanation

[edit] I'm amazed people haven't heard of it - they even used to have special nights for it in clubs in Cork a few years ago [/edit]

It is so called because of the tradition (still surviving, though only just) of Irish men taking on all the household duties on that day and giving their spouses a day off
    Lol! Not going to happen...

The mother said it to me today actually as she was cleaning the sitting room. Never heard of it, so I kinda laughed it off ...oh dear.

Well as men we could argue that it's sacrilegious and you'll never see a housewife get a job for a day to give the breadwinner a rest... I'm not chauvinist, honest! ;)

    Never heard of it before.

That site with the info about it is a total rip of content from Wikipedia - everything's copied and pasted out of wikipedia.
