If Windows 2000 or XP, check the Event Logs for Errors. That may identify if its Disk related etc. Itcould be Power Supply/Memory/Motherboard/Graphics , Random Reboots are hard to diagnose..

    power supply,replace.

I'd say that is your problem alright. Used to have the same problem as well with my sh*tty Q-tec psu. Upgraded to a Zalman and its all good :D

What type of psu you got?

if you changed no hardware then its not irq problem.Overheating could be but doubtful. How old is computer?software win98.

    Any recent software installed?

Still reckon power supply is the problem.

    Regards kieran

Its definetly not a heating issue. About 4 fan's in the case temp is around 30C with different monitoring tools. Well I don't think its a power supply issue the computer has 2 120gb hard drives (Seagate), AMD 2500+, 1024 DDR 333 ram and a radeon 9600pro. The case is a Chieftec power with the power supply that comes with it.

Can't remember the exact supply think its 400 measurement that they use (Can't remember). Was thinking that perhaps its a HDD, Ram or Motherboard issue.

It has Win2k Pro and Win Xp Home (Just installed) on it

You hit the nail on the head, its defo the ram I only had that problem about two months ago. Luckily I had the receipt for the ram because it was only new. Go to the windows website and take a look for a program called "Memory Tester" use this and even if you get one error on the test it is your ram that needs to be replaced. If you need any other help PM me and i'd be glad to assist. :D
