Ozzy and Buckethead?

OZZY OSBOURNE has ditched plans to link up with former GUNS N' ROSES star Buckethead - because the guitarist refused to lose his famous look. The guitarist was called in as Ozzy's possible latest guitarist for this year's Ozzfest tour, but Osbourne admits he couldn't persuade the eccentric axeman to ditch his trademark KFC bucket hat and white facemask - and he refused to call him Buckethead. Ozzy tells rock magazine Revolver, "I met with him and asked him to work with me but only if he got rid of the ****ing bucket. "I came back a bit later and he's wearing this green ****ing Martian's-hat thing. I said, 'Look, just be yourself.'

"He told me his name was Brian, so I said that's what I'd call him. He says, 'No one calls me Brian except my mother.' So I said, 'Pretend I'm your mum then.'"

Ozzy is now looking to reunite with former guitarist pal ZAKK WYLDE for the 10th anniversary tour this summer.

He adds, "He's ****ing nuts. It depends on a lot of things. He'll probably be with me."

I bet it's all a big lie. Sharon probably wanted Buckethead to get a short haircut and look like a ladies' man while Ozzy was locked away somewhere else where he couldn't get a word in, and Buckethead probably rightly refused

While Zakk is great I wish Ozzy would do some new material. The last one was a bit weak.

Em....im a little confused about this one, partly because Buckethead was unknown to me until he joined Guns and Roses, and even when he did im still confused as to how someone can take himself so not seriously. I mean the chap obviously has a load of talent and it just seems to me that hes wasting away on solo albums when he could join the ranks of a major band and go on tour. Even though axl says they kicked him out of Guns N Roses for lack of ability to care about the band on his part, I suspect that Buckethead was the one who wanted to do the World Tour, and Axl wasnt!

It wouldve been cool to see Buckethead with Osbourne, especially dressed in the yellow jacket, white mask and with the bucket, but sure these things happen and Osbourne should just prob re-form Sabbath anyway like we all want.

In a biazzare twist of fate, Buckethead has decided to launch a download site (prob cause his albums are so hard to find), and is currently offering a free track called "Enter the Dragon" (and not Giant Robot) recorded live late last year with current Guns N Roses drummer Brian Mania on drums.
