I was watching "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" on RTE2 tonight. When they were searching for a web site they used Google and Firefox. I only noticed it because of the familar buttons (and 'Bookmarks' instead of 'Favourites' in the menu).
    Good stuff.

Yeah I was gonna post this too :)

They also did an episode awhile back based around FPS and, to be fair, it actually wasn't half as inaccurate or sensationalist as we generally get. Fair dues.

Did anyone notice the Dell Laptop plugged into the alien ship in Stargate SG1 :(

So Hollywood has finally become accepting of actual computer standards, as opposed to pulling their own out of their arses? Whoop-de-fusking-do... Its about time... But then the fact that computers etc are becoming more mainstream than they used to be just means that it was inevitable. Nothing overly exciting, IMO.

Yup! They use Dells on Atlantis too. I think they had a vague line about adapting them to work with alien tech and it's possible she was just using it with some sort of probe for analysis...

Why are you getting so worked up about a browser?
