As in Clone the hard drive, or simply backup selected folders?

To clone the drive, you'll have to shut down windows and start a DOS-style program such as ghost. To backup selected folders use xxcopy or Karen's Power Tools (take a look at www.pricelessware.org)

syncback is the software that you seek. The basic version is free and has everything you will ever need. It has support for multiple profiles, scheduling, backup via ftp, filters etc. I use it to synchronise my music files between my iRiver H340 and my USB external drive.
