i have studied german and french up until leaving cert
now im in 2nd year college
so i have no ongoing classes to maintain my level of french or german
however i do everything i can to maintain it
for example when on the internet, i always got to www.bild.de , where i check out the days news
i also got some e-mail buddies whom i mail regularly-very handy
whenever im in a pub i go up to any greman or french person to just partise my spoken german or french

So please add to this thread and tell us how you maintain or build on your german

If you're into computers, I have a subscription to an excellent German computer magazine called c't which I have had since I lived there a number of years ago.

Also if you have broadband try listening to German radio stations or watching news programs.
