Just loaded Monsters Inc, and there is no bad language in the intro....

Actually, that was the US version I checked. I'll have the EU version in a minute...

Nope. Unless its hidden or subliminal, I can't see it.

I assume it's only on the Gameboy version?

I checked the game credits too (scrolling list of everyone involved, accessible from the Options menu). Nothing there either.

Maybe its in one of the level intro stills, further into the game?

The moron father bought a pirated cart, and the message appeared in the "Mode 7" intro. :D

    More info and screenshots....

    Even more here: http://gbatemp.m4d.sm/index.php?act=ST&f=4&t=23457&st=0
Some noble users on a GBA ROM release site are going to email the Sun about the father's piracy error.

    Oh the irony.....

You can't buy pirated games in Game/HMV/Virgin, etc. He must have bought it off a market stall or something.

I hope BBC do a follow-up report and make him feel suitably stupid. What a fool.

Thought the guy deserves more sympathy than he's getting here. He obviously didn't know it was pirate, not particularly shocking that a Dad buying his 7 year old daughter a gameboy doesn't know everything about the world of computer game piracy...

What I'm amazed by is the stupidity of the newspaper, even if it is the Sun, you'd think they'd check up their facts before running a story.

Mark, 32, had splashed out £200 on the game and two GameBoy machines to play it on for Beki and her brother Jayms, four.

    Beki and Jayms? What.The.F'uck.
