    Does anybody know anything about getting a Patent? HOw to start how much it costs what you can and cannt patent?

    The idea is technology related hence the post here...

    Public disclosure of your idea (at least in EU) invalidates your patent application.

    You really should talk to a patent lawyer or a firm that does it. Doing it by yourself can be a pain.

    Iv bounced the idea round a few people so that may be a problem. But its not posted on baords or anything...

    It really depends. If they are people under an NDA or people not expected to disclose the idea themselves but afaik if you make it public knowledge your in trouble.

    I would recommend reading this site and getting in contact with them.

    Most patents we do here are handled in the company and the services are not extended to external people.
