They're handy if you need something small quick (like a heatsink or fan), but ****e other than that. Their prices on hardware are really bad most of the time, and when they have a "special offer" it's on outdated hardware.

I'd be very wary of them because of their prices.
They were looking for over 130EUR for Robosapien before xmas(and this was supposed to be their reduced price).Next door in Smyths you could buy it for less than 90. Also I bought a 128Mb USB memory key for 20 in peats, maplins cheapest was 30(although they have it reduced to 23.99 at the moment).
They do a small range of white box pieces(ie no flashy box, manual or disks) which are grand(generally these are fans, mice, sound cards, modems, lan card and maybe even a gfx).
Also I bought a great walkie talkie set for the kids with rechargeable batteries for xmas that was reduced from 65 to 30.
I suppose the motto should be to shop around.

Compared to internet prices - not at all competitive.

    Quality - not great either.

Stock Management / Inventory - they really need to brush up on this.
When you most need a part - they will be out of stock of that item.
