    Is The World Too Politically Correct? im doing a debate and i need to find out what people think.


    like is it wrong for the conservative MP's not to sign the anti-racial election document? its Just like signing a paper saying i'm not communist?

    i need all your feedback?

    political correctness is a contradiction in terms. One of the main points of it is that every1 is entitled to their own beliefs. By calling some1 politically incorrect you are suppressing this.

    Who-ever thought of it 1st probably thought it was a good idea but its been taken to extremes by escaped mental patients with too much time on their hands.

    o, all right then. I'm probably going a bit off topic but look at the way affirmitaive action became illegal in the states. I mean imposing rules on companies that they have to have x number of asians, x number of blacks and x number of women was ridiculous. How many more qualified people lost jobs because of that? But for a long time america was so jumpy about racism that it would have been more than politically incorrect to say it.

    I'm all for a degree of 'politcal correctness'. If a social group is offended by being called something (e.g. 'blacks') I'll happily call them whatever they like. But if I make a slip, or am just un-informed I don't expect to be lynched for it. Political correctness just went too far.
