Anyone looking forward to going back?

I know that as a kind of new years resolution I'm gonna actually try and _go_ to lectures. I know I'm a first year, and I don't gotta be that serious, but I dossed a lot.

Also getting projects done before the night they're due in.

I'm looking forward to actually going to some of the clubs and socs as well.

I'd be looking forward to going back if it wasn't for these exams to deal with first.

Are you in CA? Don't cut back on the dossing just yet. Second semester of CA1 is probably the best time you'll have in college. You're over the period where everything is all a bit new and you don't know many people. After your first exams you realise that it's possible to skip lectures, leave projects till the last minutes, cram like hell the 2 weeks before exams, and get through it ok. Make the most of it while it lasts, because unfortunately it's downhill after first year.

Ah, no I'm doing a diffrent course. Tho I've a few mates in CA1, so I'm glad to hear taht.

I've only three exams. Think I'll only fail one. That's economics...too hard!! Otherwise I'm grand. As soon as they're out of the way it'll be easy sailing....right.

Can't wait to go back. Was annoyed that it was ending, tbh.

I'm one of those weird kids who goes to every single lecture, though a language course kinda means skipping = missing stuff you sometimes can't get back.

    That's what I thought, then I failed....

When I went begging to be let in he checked his computer and told me I was at about 35% of his lectures cos the fecker took attendance...

My new years resolution was to start studying on Monday so come tomorrow I'll be studying my ass off.... well that's a lie lets be honest...

Anyways yeh looking forward to getting the exams out of the way and getting back to normality... once the exams are over maybe I can get a job and make some money...

Well I haven't failed any continual assesments as yet, and for three of my subjects, it is 100% ca, so I aint _too_ worried. Bar economics...

I'll start studying on Wednesday. Work tomorrow and whatnot. I'll move back to glasnevin and get _loads_ done.

/me continues living in the clouds.

If last year was an indication of how things will be this semester then no, im not looking forward to going back.

Physics - gave it two weeks then stopped going. unbelievably boring
    Chemistry-after weeks 6 we got a new lecturer.stopped going
Biology-class notes are available on moodle.stopped going
Maths-incredibly boring but need to attend
3 hour practicals for the 3 science subjects are also dire.

I'll attend every lecture in the first two weeks in semester two.See how things go.Cant imagine how it could get worst.
