    You'd believe them if you ever did tech support. The amount of the general public who don't know much about PC's, et own, and ring up to moan that they've forgotten the password that you gave them 30 minutes ago is truely fasinating! :D

    but this is different to a password - the guy went out and bought a top of the range CPU that he spent >CA$1200 on - if I ever bought anything that expensive, I'd think more than twice before taking a hammer to it ;)

    the scary thing is some people seemed to have believed him! They were making some serious suggestions like "bring it back to the retailer" or "ring up AMD and say it broke". LOL.

    hmm was it that..it was ages ago i read it or 1 of them..i thought it was the 1 who filled his entire case with water and kept wondering why the eletrics kept shorting then about 20 pages of everyone laughing at him and him blaming them all juse because he didnt know what to do so he only "followed there advice"...or is there another!
