    No, it was never shown. It was filmed as part of a competition between the ITV companies who every Christmas had a competition to enter all the outtakes from their programs. The cast and crew of Rainbow made this "special" one for Thames' entry.

    According to the FAQ www.rainbow.web.com, which contains more Rainbow information than can be healthy, the clip was deliberately produced as a spoof for an internal "out-takes" contest one Christmas.
