Just wondering - as a spin-off from the "What Scares You" thread...

I've never seen one, but I kinda sorta believe in them...

    All the best,

I saw a dried out wet wipe once falling from a tall building and a guy in a sheet (but that may have been me cavorting about the bedroom).

Deaf and blind since birth. I admire your courage. biggrin.gif

I suppose I do believe in ghosts, but not of the rattling chains variety. Perhaps there are beings that do not have a physical presence, kind of pure energy beings ala Star Trek.

I believe in all the strange Phenomonon (do dooba doobi) but not in the ghosts in white sheats more like items being flung around rooms by the active mind of an adolescent

There are much more facinating and incredible explanations for the supernatural than the acceptance of things beyond our understanding.

Anyone see the documentry on alien abuctions and its connection with the magnitisation of living tissue. That was strange....

Look at the human face. What you see is a "Grey" or the subconcious impression of the human face, face on (slits for nostrals, eyes most notices, shape of head, lips not important). This is envoked in the subconcious when flesh is magnitised. A state of semi-coma is induced. Another symptom of this state (which can be artificially induced) is the feeling of being touched, everyone has felt a hand on their arm when they are along, some thing to do with phantom feelings as in nerve memory, like a phantom hand being that an amputee feels for months or years after seperation.

Thsi technique of Magnitisation of living tissue was developed in Holland about 10 years ago but its application through up disturbing simularities with abuduction "victims" experiences, even the time lapse which points to Flesh magnitistaion being more common than would have been believed (or even recognised).

An interesting question steems from this. What causes this? Much more interestng than hunting for non-existant aliens or ghosts.

You gotta believe in ghosts guys. I know this guy and he was a psychiatrist who treated kids. Anyway he befriended one such child who saw ghosts. But get this after a while he suddenly realised he was a ghost too. Spooky eh?

Not really. I'd like to think that there's something after death, and an eternity of scaring the sh|ite out of gulliable people sounds fun - but a bit unlikely smile.gif

That said, there is a lot of stuff we don't understand in this world. A hell of a lot.

i never believed until a few yr's ago, when i decided to show what a load of crap it was n went to this place where this "white lady" was supposed to appear...as it turned out i thought she appeared somewhere else and was laughing away to myself (btw this was about 12 at nite) when we (had 2 friends with me) went for a walk round the woods...we bloody seen her, in the right place, when i told family what happened that's when i found out that we'd seen her in the same place as countless others, not where i thought she was... p.s. the ghost i'm refering too is the "white lady" in jenkinstown woods kilkenny, if ya ever fell the need to go see one wink.gif
