My best New Years eve was 1999/2000 - managed to get a taxi from my then bf's to my parents at 11.30 Dad opened a bottle of Champagne - the top of which bounced off the wall at hit then bf on head...his parents were ultra conservative but we were watching Graham Norton - the countdown was a girl shooting ping pong balls from an unusual place...classic

Ive never actually had a really good night on new years... I guess I just never plan it and it really is a night that has to be planned.... none of my friends are brave enough to have a party on new years either

yeah, I'm the exact same, bloody years of family functions and crap like that... or else a night in someones house whom I bearly knew. Tonight could be a good one, but its not going to be great... maybe next year
