Definantly AvP - possibly the only film i've ever switched off after half an hour after wanting to see it.

So many to choose from and only one vote! Ahhhh!
I'll go with that Halle Berry "vehicle", Catwoman.

It's not an option. Nominations are closed so you've got to choose from the ones here.

Garfield gets my vote. I thought the only thing from the comic strip that was going to remain intact was that Garfield is always rather depressed (it is Bill Murray, after all). Then it turned out that he was dancing around with a big smile on his face most of the time, but had a really depressed voice, like he was laughing to hide the tears ;) .

If the vote was for a movie concept then it would have to be Alien versus Predator, quickly followed by Garfield

Ah Nuts, you beat me to it Irishboy, no question about it, has to be the Hulk. Ang Lee is a great movie maker, but the special effects were just ridiculous and ruined the movie.

Anywho, your list Ixoy, has to be The Day after 2morrow, special effects again, and Jake Gyllenhall really bugs me so that in itself made it a bad movie 4 me anyway.

    C YA ;)

(thankfully) haven't see many of these, only Gothika, which I liked. Do I hve to vote for that, so? :D

Have to agree. I've "only" seen 4 of these. I saw AvP after I had already nominated 2 of the others and AvP beat them hands down as the worst. Shocking crap!

Catwoman is clearly the worst film of all time.

Which one of these films is rated lowest on IMDB...? I'll have to check on that...

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,304 ✭✭✭✭koneko

Don't let it affect your vote :)

    IMDB ratings:

    Alien versus Predator/AvP 5.3/10
    Catwoman 3.4/10
    Garfield 4.8/10
    Gothika 5.8/10
    Saw 7.4/10
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow 6.7/10
    The Day After Tomorrow 6.2/10
    The Stepford Wives 5.3/10
    Van Helsing 5.3/10

Oh, and just out of interest, the worst rated film of 2004 on IMDB is in the top100 bottom rated movies at number 2:

    SuperBabies: Baby Geniuses 2 (2004)
with a whopping massive score of 1.5

gah... I'd just gone and worked all that out and was about to post..

As can be seen there, Catwoman is a league above the others in terms of crapness...

Went for Van Helsing.... there are sooo many bad ones there though.

I love the way all the gunk mentioned on this thread appears in the Google ads at the bottom of the page :D I think that might be post-modern or something.

Interesting. Never noticed those before. Whatever happened to Boards.ie look the policy re downloading pirated movies? It's frowned upon if we talk about it but it's ok to advertise!!?? :o

wtf is Saw doing there ? I really liked it...and at very worst it was mediocre...should not be in the worst film of 2004 poll by a longshot.

Search me - I enjoyed it and vigorously defended it at the time. But enough people nominated it that I felt duty bound to include it. I certainly wasn't going to vote for it in the poll!
