We have been living in Dublin for 4 years. I am an EU National my wife is Non EU.
We recently had twins and would like my sister-in-law to come mind the kids while we both work.
My sister-in-law is a Non EU National (Taiwan).

What sort of visa do we apply for ???

We would like her to be here at least a year (6 months here - 1 month overseas - 6 months here would also be fine).
Can you get 1 year tourist visas? Can you get a 6 month visa then extend for a further 6 months? Anyone know if its tricky doing it this way?

Or do we employ her as an au-pair (she is 35)? What would that involve?
