Apparently according Brazilian media that Vanderley Luxemburgo claims he is set to become the new manager of Real Madrid, although it has yet to be confirmed by Florentino Perez and his band of not so merry men.

Perez should just make himself the manager and then sack himself when results are going bad. At least that would be a step in the right direction.

The Brazilians seem to spell it Vanderlei Luxemburgo. At least they spell it like that on the Santos website. The Europeans spell it Wanderley. I always thought it was Wanderley. Interesting.

Some languages pronounce Ws as Vs, I'm sure the correct spelling is on a Fifa website somewhere...

    Tomato, tomato. Who cares?! :p

I can't see how any manager with a good reputation would want to go and manage Real Madrid in their current state of affairs. Add that to the pressure from the fans etc. Yeah, its one of the biggest jobs going but how could anyone do their job with that clown as president?

He seems to dislike Beckham according to newspaper reports, and also wants to sign Robinho and have him partnered with Adriano next season. Surely a devastating strike force.

What about that other moderatly decent strikert...................Ronaldo ?................what are they gonna do with him if they signed Adriano and Robinho............is Robinho not an attacking midfielder anyway ? .

The circus never stops at Real Madrid , and although they've had to replace a lot of clowns the main one is still there , keeping the circus going .

Well apparently theres going to be a massive shake up, Roberto Carlos, Figo, Zidane, Samuel (Swap Deal Adriano), Beckham. Vanderley Luxemburgo is not a big fan of English football or its players, he openly critiscised Beckham performances in the 98 and 02 World Cups and also believes Michael Owen is not up to scratch either. So most certainly the circus continues raging out of control.

I've also heard that he doesn't like other people interfering with the team. Real madrid have Sacchi, Perez and Butragueño there to do that. I heard someone say he'll walk if they do. He could be another Camacho. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
The bottom line though is he's a better coach than the one he's replacing. I never thought García Remón would stay the whole season. Apparently he's staying on with the club though. I guess another person to mess with the team.

Tbh the bottom line is that Flo-jo should have never sacked Del Bosque.

very true , what kind of ****ing idiot sacks a manager after winning the league , not winning the Champions League was supposedly the reason , but I don't think any other club in the world would do that .They truely are a circus .
