i recently upgraded from win 98se to win xp. i do alot of line in recording on my pc and on win 98 i had two icons for audio in my system tray. one was the speaker symbol (which is still there on win xp) and the other was an icon of a mixer (which is not there now). the difference between the speaker icon and the mixer icon is that in the mixer i can slect what channel to record from (line in, mic etc.). now on win xp i have no way (as far as i can see) to change the record input. it is set as default on mic and not line in. does anybody how to a) change the record input or b) re download that mixer program. i think it was called system mixer but a google search showed up nothing.

    cheers
    moe
