141 turns it off and if you are ex dir 142 turns it on

As far as i know if your dialling an ISP on a 1892 number your CID is revealed even if you 141.

Yes thats how they track you. Thye keep a record of ip address and which phone number was dialled in, and was using that ip address,at any time.
