    Have you got what it takes to get up on stage and amaze an audience? Do you fancy yourself as one of Ireland’s next music superstars? If the answer is ‘Yes’, then this could be your chance of Fame!!

    The 2005 You’re A Superstar Talent Competition in association with O2 Ireland is being held in Ffrenchs Night Club in Monivea this January and February. The competition will be held over three heats; January 22, January 29, and February 5.

    The Winning contestant will receive €3,000 in prize money.

    The competition is limited to 18 contestants. Two will be eliminated each night leaving 12 in the Grand Final on Saturday February 19.

    Each Contestant will sing once in the heats and the finalists will sing twice. The audience will vote people to stay in/be eliminated each night up to the final.

    On the final night a judging panel selected specifically from the entertainment and media industry will decide on an overall winner. The judges will include Chris Doran (You’re A Star Winner 2004), Siobhan Holliman (Entertainments Correspondent, The Tuam Herald) and Mike Rabbitte (Ffrenchs Night Club).

    The heats will be hosted by Bryan G (Ffrenchs, The Source), and the final will be hosted by Rick O’ Shea (2FM, Mon – Thurs 8pm – 10pm).

    Closing Date For Applications is Friday, Janurary 14th.

    Sign the winner? What sort of deal are they offering? Development? Commited releases? Guaranteed promotion? Generous royalty percentage? Artistic control?
