iPod and Windows ME

    my uncle recently bought an iPod and he tried to install it on his pc,was told windows 2000 with sp4 or XP,
    what i wanna know is there any way he can install it on ME as he really doesnt want to fork out another 100 bucks for an OS when hes just spent so much on an ipod

    iTunes will never work on anything pre 2000. But there are third party programs for earlier windows. Head over to ipod lounge you should be able to find a few.

    can your uncle read?

    Windows system requirements:

    * PC with FireWire or USB 2.0 port, or FireWire or USB 2.0 card
    * Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 or Windows XP Home or Professional
