Dutch student wants to stay for a day

A Dutch journalism student has set up a Web site asking people all over the world if he can stay at their place for free.

Ramon Stoppelenburg is a poor student who wants to travel the world without huge expense and even though his Web site, Letmestayforaday.com, hasn't been active for long, he already seems to have gathered plenty of offers together.

Ramon says on his site that one of his main concerns is safety as, of course, he does not know the people who will put him up: "There is absolutely no way in knowing things about the people who invite me. Of course I have a back-up team of friends at home...and I will have daily contact with them by phone." Good luck to him.

fairplay but there is an organisation who do roughly the same thing ie your put on a list and and people can call and drop by, stay for one day and only stay longer if they work for you. they've got a good load of members.
