help,re loading farcry ,cod, at 640x480 res,

    im trying to load farcry and call of duty gameof the year at 640 by 480 resolution is there any way to change the config or loading by shortcut dev mode to get em loaded at low res ,i got a athlon 2400 last week but i,m using an old monitor only works at 6040by 480x32 ,if i load up at 800,600res i get double images cant see menus to change video options to lowres600,monitor has no name just svga on front ,so cant load up monitor driver,i,ll get proper monitor in 3weeks , id just like to load up farcry see whats its like on my new pc.using ti4200 nvidia card it shows mon as standard 800x600 monitor. ill prbly get secondhand 19inch monitor crt,when i have the money saved.

    in trying to solve my issue with pro evo on my new laptop i think i learned how to solve yours, great! haha. anyway, right click the icon on desktop and go to compatibility options and click run in 640x800(or it could be 480) may do the job???

    i got cod loading it reloaded and just asked to start in safe mode,i clicked yes, thanks ill try that later when i get home.i never thought of right clicking icon.thanks for the advice.

    I see nothing, re compatiblty ,I right click icon and get propertys shortcut farcry.exe so on i,ll prbly have to wait til i get monitor .im running win98 256meg ddr ram.is there safe mode in the programs menu from START.programs /farcry, safe mode,etc.?ill reinstall it and try again.
