I am looking to find the best place to get a 17" Flat panel monitor, the cheapest I could find is for €288 from Komplett. I'm not too bothered about the spec's, a pretty basic model would suffice.

I had a look at the PC World and Argos websites, both a had decent looking offers but when I checked their stores the prices was nowhere near what was advertised on their UK websites.

You might find after currency conversion they're still not equal.

Obviously I've converted them to Euro before comparing. There are still major differences.

    Thanks for the other replies.

Have you taken into account the lower VAT rate in the UK? Sure its quite possible that they are simply charging more in Ireland (like Tesco often do), but without knowing the prices in their Irish shops and their UK site i can't tell for sure.

svp communications have this : 17" Digimate L-1715 TFT Monitor £164.99 / €uro237.94. including UK VAT.
If you're buying a bunch of DVD-R media the shipping makes a bit more sense.
