I went to a disco/party(over 18) in my local rugby club it was 15euro for a ticket i arrived at the party at about 11.30 and at about 12.15 the gardai showed up went around asking some people questions. then 10 minutes later someone got on stage and announced that everyone had to leave and i think it was because there were a lot of underage people there(i dont think the bouncers were asking for ID) so i spent 15euro and spent about 45 minutes in the place should i be entilted to my money back considering its there fault for not asking for ID???

Jebus €15 and no time to romance some tail. That's harsh.

Definitley head down to the Rugby Club and demand a refund, if that fails goto Garda Station and demand same.

let us know how you get on

We'll have to wait a while. They probably only get access to the net about once a week in Mountjoy.

In that incident the real crime was charging €15, but as they say, a fool and his money are soon parted.

LOL I can just see the cops running to get the €15 to hand over to him. He would be laughed out of the station :D

I'd pursue the Rugby Club for the money though as it was their responsibility to ensure they were enforcing the licensing laws.
