HERE IS A LINK TO THE LAPTOP I'M TALKING ABOUT:)

Hi, I've been considering buying a new laptop for quite some time. I just want a machine that has everything I need, this seems to.

Just thinking about it... how much would I be looking to pay for a similar machine 2nd hand? Would there be much of a price difference does anyone think?

Is this an offer worth going for?

Will I find a better offer in other sales?

    Is this computer brand ok?

    Will the components be ok?

Will it be necessary to queue before opening times to get my hands on one of these or should it be ok to strole in any time during the day?

if anyone knows, please answer soon! thanks

I really have no idea about this kind of thing. If somebody could please check out different offers for same kind of price/specs and let me know how good a deal this really is I would be very grateful! Please let me know what I would be missing out on by going with this deal over any other.

iM gonna go for it, if you see it up on the for sale forum let this be proof that I just made a mistake in buying it for whatever reason. Lets hope it doesnt end that way. Better be some left now.

it is a good choice. you won't get better value for money.
to answer some of your questions don't worry about it, centrino are better than putting in 3ghz processors cos they eat power and these have built in wifi. they preform comparibably (i think).
the graphics card is prety good, not the best though, but it will run every game out there.
don't now about the ram though as desktops usually use 400mhz memory. Maybe the centrino uses a lower fsb. somebody else on the boards will know.
firewire is just like usb2 only it isn't used as much. dv cameras use it as well as ipods.

Aha, I never knew that about centrio being a different GHZ to the normal processor, so thats why its only 1.7:) thanks for info:)

I'm just back anyway got the last of the 3 there:) it looks pretty nice! Glad I bought it and glad to see I got a good deal:) 2yr warranty, 2 year collect and return service. not bad:)
