quality of dvd writables?

hi there have a couple of independently made films copyleft! that I got on dvd authorered i think with software related to opendvd... (which got shutdown by the feds?) I copied the dvd with nero... but it doesn't seem to pay right, it automatically loads up in my dvd player soiftware when you insert it but it won't click…

I copied the dvd with nero... but it doesn't seem to pay right, it automatically loads up in my dvd player soiftware when you insert it but it won't click past the front menu...

is there a prob with the quality if the dvds i used, or it the way i copied it
