I have an internet connection with utvinternet but wanted to install eircom for backup cos sometimes at night it hard to get connected with utv. my problem is that I put in the eircom disk and now I cant get rid of it.. seems to be attached to outlook express (which i have never used) cos in some sites when you need to send an email it goes to the eircom screen with just register and cancel on it.. which it wont do either cos it freezes. I may not be explaining myself too good but need help
    much appreciate help

Sounds like the Eircom connection isn't fully configured. Delete it and start again.

I assume by eircom disk you mean the software on it. Uninstall the whole shebang, try doing it the offcial route by clicking on uninstall prog then reboot. That'll proberly remove the freeze problem as for Outlook Express, I bet the eircom package just looks for IE and OE as the default progs but you may be able to disassociate the two. One way to get round the problem if you re-install eircom is when clicking an e-mail link, just right click and copy e-mail address then paste that into whatever mail programme you use.

    Mike.
