Hard drive problem. Help!

Ok I left Norton WinDoctor running last night and when I looked at my computer today it was stopped mid scan. I couldn't stop the scan or access Task Manager so I ended up turning off the computer with the power button. When I turned it back on I got an error:

Pri Master Hard Disk: S.M.A.R.T. Status BAD, Backup and Replace
    Press F2 to Resume

Pressing F2 just gets me into the BIOS. I searched on Google and found out that SMART warns you that the hard disk is likely to fail soon and that it can be turned off in the BIOS. But there is no setting in the BIOS so what can I do?

I'd suggest you back-up your data and replace the hard-drive. Turning off the device warning you it's gonna fail really won't help you much.

I managed to get into windows by selecting exit-without-saving in the bios. I'm going to run some disk diagnostic programs now.

Running chkdsk seems to have fixed the problem. I will of course backup everything just in case.
