Wireless router attacking my computer?

I have a linksys WAG54G wireless adsl modem router. The firewall is supposed to block incoming unauthorised traffic. I've got WEP enabled, SSID off, MAC identification on and DHCP disabled. All the latest windows security updates (excluding XP SP2). All machines are clean after a scan.

The problem is when I'm using my wireless connection. Every now and then I get a trojan alert (deep throat and bla) from my software firewall (Norton) identifying my router as the attacker which it subsequently blocks disconnecting my internet connection. The wired computer on at the same time picks up nothing (this happens whether the wired machine is on or not).

Could my software firewall be a little too sensitive or could it be a real attack? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe its because of the fact that the router is where all the net traffic comes through so Norton sees that as a threat?

Norton is so feckin bloated it slows your system down more then most viruses do.

I reckon you should get a different firewall like kerio (www.kerio.com), and different anti virus like sophos (www.sophos.com) / avg free (www.grisoft.com) / antivir (www.free-av.com)

I use the firewall built into windows XP meself.
