Over the past 24 hours or so, my satellite picture froze intermittently and sometimes going to "No Satellite signal being received". I put it down to the high winds yesterday & last night.

This morning, the signal was fine for about two hours 7am-9am and then it happened again for about five minutes, and it's been fine since.

I checked the "Signal Test" and the "Signal Strength" the grey bar is about 60% across, and the "Signal Quality" is at about 50%.

I would be extremely grateful for any theories & suggested solutions please, as I'm not very well up on this type of thing. Is it a matter of re-adjusting the dish to bring the Signal Strength & Quality to a certain level ?

    Many thanks in advance.

Could be a number of things, probaly not dish alignmnet as dishes rarely return to the same position and you have decent enough quality (although this cannot be ruled out entirely), lnb intermittent fault, cable fault or even the receiver itself.

If the problem persists, is this something that I can call on your company to call out [ north co. wicklow ] and fix for me after christmas ?
