    I think the camera you mean is an SV as there seems to be no camera called a VS.

    Have a look about there.
    Normally the 16 bit subsystem error can be fixed by removing a VDD entry in the registry.
    Not sure about this one, have a look using google, which it doesn't look like you have done so far.

    I'm assuming your PC is running XP. If it's not then I'm lost with ms-dos.

    Anyway take a look at this link:

    Do XP machines need special drivers for USB cameras? did you try using it without the installation CD?

    normally if you have XP, then you shoul dbe able to install the camera through the scanners and cameras option in the Control panel, if it isn't the newest camera, the drivers shoul dbe embedded in XP
