Yep, kinda off topic, but it's the season to be jolly! And feylya, that is a kickass sig. And thanks for the advice that was thrown around. I learned a good bit from what other people have asked about, even though i probably wont ever use any of it!

I've got the money to get some shiny new gear, but I'm not sure what. I could probably afford a new fretless bass, acoustic or 7 string guitar. I'm pretty stumped as to what to get.

I was meant to buy some other stuff today but everywhere I went was either closed and/or sold out of what I wanted. So I bought a ProCo "You Dirty RAT" distortion pedal for my bass. It sounds lovely. And here's a pic of me looking delighted (if slightly mentally unstable) with it:
