got the free GTA 1 before .. don't think you can save the games ... also they bombard you with newsletters after signing up

I don't reckon the server's taking a hammering, I think it's just not working....

The two important error messages being the first and last which indicate that the download source file isn't there, thus you cannot download it Mind you, it is because its a windows server using a *nix path, so it may be there, just not in that place.

And substituting the IP address for rockstargames.com (because they're different servers, use ping to check) at the final download URL (or even for the file itself directly) doesn't do much, the browser just waits and waits and waits

That's my 2p worth, I really hope someone can prove me wrong though by confirming that they've managed to download it.

still not able to find the game file right now (same for gta1 for me)
