    Hey guys,

Seems like everytime i post its looking for help! anyway this time i have the following problem.

I'm running a POS laptop, IBM ThinkPad T21. It's running win2k with an S3 Graphics Savage/IX 1014 (i think its PCI bt i'm not sure). Anyway, according to my system, i'm running
    • Generic Television
    • Default Monitor
    • IBM ThinkPAd 1024x768 LCD

when in fact i'm only using the last one. Now as to how it thinks there are two other monitors connected i'll never know. In the settings tab in display there is no option to choose one as primary and there is only one desktop shown when normally there'd be a number on each screen in the settings tab. Also, when i uninstall the two generic ones they come back after a restart. I can find no way of turning them off.

This is driving me insane as recently the colour quality of the screen has gone to shíte, and i'm assuming that its because its using generic television as the primary monitor. Its pobably something to do with installing something or other but i cant remember anything thati'd have installed that would have messed around with the display settings. I've connected the laptop to a Dell Axim X5 PDA recently if that helps.

Anyone know how to get my lovely 16-bit colours back?

    all the best
