water cooling

    is it worth my while putting in water cooling, what are the chances of it leaking?

    waterclooing is great if you get a good kit! best to buy seperate parts and put it together yourself, 1/2" kit runs much better than 1/4" kit and you do a leak test before you install it in your PC, once you know its not leaking it'll be safe to use in the PC!

    my temp drops 30c underload with the 1/2" kit, but 1/4" kit I had wasnt as good!

    if you can afford it go for it!

    yeh custom stuff is the way to go! my old 3400 idles around 26-27

    id post a pic to show u the joy of 1/2" tubing too..but its the same case as his...id just be copying :p

    and nah i had loads of leaks when i was testing (no fecking ptfe tape in rad barbs) ..but all sorted and been running leak free for 4 month now..doing grand :D

    my house so warm with the heating on,system temps at 27c but my room temps actually at 34c, my 3.4 running at 3910 idle at 38c, 51c underload, NB goes up to 71c but still on air, waiting for NB and NV40 block!

    I say be after Xmas before I see them!

    hey I wanna see yours! I have a feeling our system looks identical when my UV arrives! just different spec! hehe :)

    nice! looks so much alike! like twins! hehe :) yea I got 2 Blue Neons, waiting for the 2 UVs! I cant have many things at the front because of the 6 HDDs! gonna change the color of that DVDRW to make them looks better on mine!!!

    yeh i cant have much front either...4 drives a 120.1 and a res :rolleyes:

    if i can motivate myself to try tidying it up a bit...behind the motherboard appears to have some space..then im gonna get a couple of UV's to see what they do to my tubing..my psu cable braiding is uv reactive too...could be interesting :eek:
