Cycled all the way to beautiful Ile de Ré off La Rochelle. 80 kms in the rain, feels like I'm still in Ireland. Dinner tonight saw saucisson, la soupe of the fisherman, foie gras again, cow sh*t cheese, and Babass's homemade chocolate cream to go with the local Pineau des Charentes. Apricot tart now.
