    Quick question for y'all

I have an old pc with an old motherboard with little RAM but I was wondering as a rule should bigger piece of RAM be in the furst slot ?

Also - is there a limit to the amount of RAM a motherboard/processor can take. The motherboard model is i440LX-W977 and the processor is PII 300MHz

    Thanks

128Mb is the biggest modules available and you probably have 3 slots, so

    3 * 128Mb = 384Mb

If I were to buy 1 x 128mb should that go in slot 1 or does it matter ?

Also - would having 384MB have any bearing on the processor performance etc ?

Have no bearing on CPU performance good or bad but would be better for overall performance.

Just put it into the next available slot and it will be fine
