Freeware CD-RW software for WinXP

Lads,

I have a LG CD-RW CED-8083B and need to get software for it. I formated my PC and the Roxio software went with it (totally forgot about it actually) and i dont have a disk so ...

Are there any freeware CD-RW programs i can use that are compatiable with WinXP, i tried installing Easy CD Creator from Adaptec but its not compatiable.

Any ideas ??

I can right click on a file and send them to disk and burn them that way, but how do you copy from one CD to another ??

Drag and drop all the files from one disk to the cd-r disk? Just an idea. I'm sure there's some free software out there somewhere.

I have tried that and it just burns the shortcuts, not he actual files themselves.

Try a right click drag...

Or copy them to your hard drive first.

Don't think you can create audio cd's though....
I have that exact Cd-writer....and I have the cd around here somewhere.....is it easy cd creater 4.0?

Windows media player 10 has the ability to make audio c.d's.

Put in the c.d, drag the music files into the folder of the blank c.d then click burn these files to c.d (in menu on the left). That'll open up wmp and you can mess around with the order and it'll burn it up for you. Simple, and free.

Na I have an old PC with that burner running that software....Easy CD Creator 4.0 will not work with XP

http://www.cdburnerxp.se/ seems to be the best freeware around. Though I use nero since it comes with a lot of the drives that I bought over the years.
