PCI to Fast SCSI Question

My Adaptec SCSI Card 2902 has killed itself and I need a replacement and I came across a Adaptec SCSI Card 2904 and im not sure if it will perfom the same. Will it? I need a PCI to fast SCSI controller and im not entirely sure about the replacement I've shortisted. I dont want to buy the wrong controller.

I saw that, i cant find that model....ya see, that is why I asked about the 2904
