    I saw my ghostly Father at shrift today,
    "God be with you my son" he welcomed.
    "Peace be with you also my Father" I replied.

    I told him I seen someone being murdered,
    & that I had not reported it.
    I told him I did not know the man.

    I confessed how I was afraid to confron the assailants.
    He asked if I was sure I did not know the man.

    I searched deep in my mind, my heart & my soul.
    Searching. Searching for his indentity.
    I could not place him nor did I know him.
    Then it struck me.
    "It's me !" I cried.
