I've had an idea for a screen play, I've a start and an end and a couple of key scenes. I'm having trouble stringing them all together.

I've run the idea by a friend who works for a film distributor (major one) & he wants first refusal on it, not because he's a mate, all that got me was the opportunity to pitch it to him, he said it sounds good & more importantly sounds like it could be successful. He's quite senior in the industry (i.e. he actually runs the company here in Ireland) & I respect his opinions greatly. He's told me that if he likes it that he's put me in touch with financiers. If he doesn't it hits his shredder - No bull****, I like that. He's got many successful productions (globally) under his belt, so I don't doubt he knows a good thing when he sees it.

It's also possible that I'll produce it independently as I'm very into that idea, (which would mean me directing - the control freak coming out to play).

There's no pay for now. But if it gets made you'll be paid for it (not sure how much - could be a mars bar and a can of coke) and a screen credit (co-writer).

If you're interested in collaborating on it, drop me a PM with your email address & I'll send you an address where to send a sample of a film/TV script that you've done. It's going to be extremely low (no) budget (so no huge dramatic set pieces or SFX).

I'll probably review samples over Christmas & initiate working together over January. Hoping to film over the summer if possible.
