I know this is probably not the right forum for this but...
I bought a drill in Argos about 3 weeks ago and didn't buy the insurance they offer, it gave in on me at the weekend when I was drilling a hole in the wall. Anyone know what the Argos returns policy is???

used to work in argos.. as long as you have a reciept you should be fine..(if its broken..you can get it replaced or ask for your money back..)
if you have trouble push it....at worst they will send it of to be fixed..
(still best bet its to complain loudly if they give you trouble)

sign up in the one in the square saying they are open till 9.30pm for rest of the week except xmas eve so might be quiet later on! Sure same applies for alot of the other shopping centre ones.

Have always found Argos very good at returning stuff/replacing so cant imagine major hassle

you should deffo get the refund before xmas btw

argos have a seperate customer service desk to deal with refunds and at the moment the queues look fine on it,

but you wait til after xmas and the returns desk will be swamped with people bringing things back, it'll be a nightmare!

definitely a good time to go into customer services....nobody at the desk last night and changed in about 5 mins flat up in Liffey Valley but the tills to pay were mental alright.
