Man shot in limerick

    A man entered a bar on Mulgrave Street just before 10pm last night and opened fire with a handgun, hitting a member of staff.

    He then left the premises and fired another shot outside.

    He made off on a motorbike.

    The injured man was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital

    Anybody know waht pub this is

    Brannigans, I think. The gunman wasn't much of a shot, though.... The barman he shot jumped the bar and chased the gunman out of the pub.

    where in the article does it say the barman was "running around" actually where does it say he was shot in the leg?

    sounds a little like running around though no? alright perhaps i just went overboard a little there then :D;) didn't see it in the article either by the way but am told he was shot in the leg... :eek: anyways... all's well that ends well! :) did they catch the culprit do you know? hmmm they probably won't :rolleyes: why go shoot the barman though :confused:

    because someone was arrested and a court case is pending therefore it would be unwise to be posting stuff about that case here unless it was already in the public domain
