Simply, what are you favourite theme TV show theme tunes?
From my youth, I'd say "LA Law" and "St. Elsewhere" or more recently "E.R." & "The West Wing"

Hmmm, was gonna place this but I must say I prefer the Season 18/19 mix with the synthesizers and effects coming in. Orbital's Glastonbury mix should really be used for the modern series.

Not one person has mentioned Mission:Impossible. Forget the insipid adaptations done for the movies. The original was and still is the best. Picture the scene:It's the end of the episode. The microfilm that the IM Force has planted implicates the chief of police of some Eastern European state as a double agent. The Prime Minister instructs the new chief of police – who is in fact the real double agent – to take the old chief away. Meanwhile, Jim and Cinamon, dressed in Secret Police uniforms nonchalantly stroll out the front door, past the security checkpoint, down the steps and into the waiting limo, where Willie, Rollin and Barney await them and they drive off to the border. All of this accompanied by Lalo Schifrin's puslating score in 5/4 time.
