iTunes Volume level and Equaliser.

    If you have the Equaliser and the Volume lever, on, will that effect the recording or ripping? I'm assuming it does...

    doesnt for me .. i rip all my cds with the sound enhancer up 100% and my mp3s sound sweet. mit take a little longer but theres no sound difference that i can c.

    Don't think the ripping has anything to do with playback (sq, soundcheck, etc).

    I have been ripping all my cd's using Apple Lossless, sounds pretty good if a little big ~300Mb per CD ;(

    I've noticed that when I bring in some of my MP3s into the iTunes libaray, WInamp is no longer able play the mp3.

    Any ides?

    Are you converting them to Apple Lossless? What is the file extension?
