One thing I noticed recently and I was quite surprised it never nit me before is the fact that all our speed limits are in Mph but all road signs (unless cast iron antiques) are in KMph. does this not seem a bit odd to anyone ?

What would you think about changing new Irish card to Mph?

How long have you been driving before this revelation hit you.

HE HE, Muppet, I think you should be worrying about fuel prices firstly.

was driving for about 3 years as a sales rep.....the things you notice. i dont really mind too much about the fuel prices as they always go up, after a few weeks once the bickering ends everyhing will be normal again.

I don't know about you but I've never seen a road-sign do anything but zeroKMph biggrin.gif

card - cars? Don't all cars have both KMph and Mph?

Fuel prices I am worried about. If the lorry drivers do decide to protest it'll be chaos. Everybody supports them but everybody would be cursing them too. I honestly can't see how the goverment can raise the tax when a ) there's no need, b) everybody knows it's tax and not OPEC and c ) everybody wants the tax lowered.

They won't be keeping their jobs come election time - that's for sure.
